What job or job field should I go into?

Question by HulaHoop Neckringer: What job or job field should I go into?
Based on the info below, which includes everything on my real resume/job history, What job or jobs am I qualified for???

I’ve worked in a few different industries, but I have no idea what OTHER PEOPLE THINK I am qualified for vs. not eligible for. By “Other people” I mean moronic HR/hiring managers who are younger than me– and I’m in my mid 20′s.
I know what I’ve done & what I can do, but sometimes HR/hiring mangers don’t see my Point of View.
So… I’m asking random internet people: What job or job field should I apply for????

What job could I ACTUALLY get if I applied to day and I could start work tomorrow?

What skills do I have & what skills should I highlight on a resume or “addition comments section” on a paper or online cookie cutter application???

What KEYWORDS should I use to trick or trigger word searching programs that companies use?
————————-

Resume:
Company HV
Feb 08- 3-10
cashier, LP, stockroom, r’cving etc…

Adecco — real company name (Temp/placement agency)
Oct 2008
month long retail job– Greeter

Temp agency ES
March-april 08
“factory work”

Temp agency “E”
feb 08- 1 week long fill in for truck dispatch
Aug- Sept- machine loader “as needed” temp job

Bennigans’
Feb 08- May 08
server,waiter, hostess, some bartend, etc..

Company AP (long term temp)
Feb 08- Aug 08
receptionist, secretary, bookkeeping, etc…

Company FM (seasonal)
May 08- Aug 08
unload-er, receiver, etc

Evil Co “V”
may-aug 07
receiver, order picker, forklift driver, then office work, data entry clerk, etc.

Company OL (seasonal but didn’t know it at the time- Tax season, technically classified as “temp to perm”, except there was no real permanent employment option, they just didn’t want to call it temp, since it was thru the real CO, and NOT thru a temp agency)
Jan-April 07
inventory, Loss prevention, forklift/cherry picker/moto P-Jack, cycle counts data entry, etc.

Company MW
May 06-Jan 07
shipping r’cving order picking, forklift driving – 3 different kinds, then inventory management/manager, truck route set up & pre dispatch paperwork, etc…

Evil Company: RGIS
(almost the real company name.. ha ha ha)
Dec 05- April 07
Inventory, cycle counts, various other Inventory crap, etc

Company F
Feb-Dec 05
order picking/shipping/special shipping/sortation/accuracy checker/inventory, etc….

Other random retail companies—
2000-2005
Ames- cashier, floor person, CS desk, etc… (2 yrs)
regional Chain grocery store- cashier, floor stocker, etc… (1 yr exactly to the day)
regional Chain Convenient mart- cashier, coffee maker, etc… (6 mos )
privately owned donut shop/deli- cashier, server, cook, etc – (9 mos.)
gas station/C-mart/deli- cashier, freezer stocker, etc… (4 mos.)
————————————–…
I usually choose to not put temp jobs on the applications, but then it also brings up the subject of an employment gap. Also, how far should I go back when writing a resume VS. applications??
How far should I go back in general?
What jobs should I put vs. should not put when filling out online “generic” applications, or paper applications?
(Most co’s have spaces for 3 or 4 jobs AND they say your most recent 3 or 4, but which ones should I put, based on the info I gave???)
Any other “real” advice from helpful people would be appreciated. The more details the better!!!!
Thanks ☺

So you think HR managers don’t know their own organization or what positions they need to hire for? Obviously you are applying for the wrong position or you’re not qualified if you’re not getting the jobs.

New Online Tax Preparation Service Emerges to Undercut the Competition

Manchester, CT (PRWEB) January 23, 2007

According to the Associated Press, more than 60% of US taxpayers will have their tax returns completed by paid professionals this year and thousands more will use specialized software to guide them through the completion of their own returns. As it becomes less common for taxpayers to handle their taxes by themselves, the tax preparation industry is getting more and more competitive. Accelerate Financial Solutions, LLC, a newcomer to the online tax service field, is finding amazing success and experiencing tremendous growth by performing all of the most common tax services for less than its competitors charge.

Ricky Frimpong, owner of Accelerate Financial Solutions, LLC, worked for one of the largest tax preparation services for more than three years before pouncing on what he saw as an ideal market opportunity. He asserted that it was possible to offer the same high quality tax services as the major companies without the need for the brick-and-mortar business locations that drive up the cost of service. By helping customers with filing taxes online, Frimpong has been able to serve a greater number of taxpayers in a shorter period of time and for smaller payments.

“With Accelerate Financial Solutions, you get the reliable security you should expect from a reputable tax service business without paying a premium price,” Frimpong explains.

Accelerate Financial Solutions, LLC currently features state tax return filing for $ 9.95 and Federal return filing for $ 14.95. Taxpayers seeking an extension on their Federal returns can also secure a quick extension for $ 9.95. Without the need for downloading any software, customers must only complete a short online tax interview and verify the e-File submission of their returns. Taxpayers can count on prompt refunds by filing taxes online with Accelerate Financial Solutions, LLC, and can also take advantage of its online tax service guide, real-time online chat service, tax calculators and the current Ernst & Young Tax Guide. For the safety and privacy of its customers, Accelerate Financial Solutions, LLC employs the latest and most sophisticated security measures on its website.

The company is also publishing a free newsletter filled with tax tips. The latest edition extensively covers all of the changes and additions to the tax laws that will impact 2006 tax returns, including increases in personal exemptions, standard deductions and AMT exemptions.

Update on2/2/10 Taxbrain:?

Question by Nikkit: Update on2/2/10 Taxbrain:?
Dear xxxxxx xxxxxxxx:
On January 15, 2010 some of the initial tax returns sent to the IRS by Taxbrain were incorrectly coded to have their tax refund deposited to Republic Bank rather than to Santa Barbara Bank & Trust. You are receiving this email because we have received confirmation that a tax return filed from your Taxbrain account was among those returns.

Because the direct deposit information included with your tax filing was incorrect, the deposit has been returned to the IRS. As a matter of procedure, when a deposit is returned to the IRS, the refund is sent to the taxpayer in the form of a paper check through the mail to the address listed on the tax return.

We are working with the IRS and the banks to identify a faster way to get your refund delivered to you, but at this point we do not know if this will be possible. The typical time to receive a refund by mail is six to eight weeks.

To check the status of your refund please use the online “Where’s My Refund” IRS tool.
You can also contact the IRS Toll-Free at 1-800-829-1040. Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. your local time (Alaska & Hawaii follow Pacific Time).
You may wish to use this communication as evidence that your tax refund has in fact been filed and that your tax refund is being delayed due to events beyond your control.

We know that our customers look forward to, and often rely on the timely receipt of their tax refund. We take our business very seriously and I want to personally assure you that this outcome is entirely unacceptable. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and frustration this situation has caused. All tax preparation and service fees associated with your tax return have been waived and will not be withheld from your refund amount.

Thank you,

Craig Petz

Taxbrain messed up, so what are you all perfect. Look at Toyota, massive recall, you think it’s going to change Toyota forever?. Your all adults and acting like Children. Learn to breath, relax. Don’t put yourself in a situation where you depend so much on your yearly return. None of you people even pay taxes, you get it all back and more. While my quality of people, wait till April 15th to file because we know we will owe. So we can support all you poor people with all your earned income credits. Amen to Taxbrain, for getting a bunch of losers upset. I hope it takes 3 months for you to get that check.

eSmart Tax Wins About.com Readers’ Choice Award

Virginia Beach, VA (PRWEB) March 26, 2011

During the recent About.com Readers’ Choice Awards, eSmart Tax was voted as the best do-it-yourself tax filing software. eSmart Tax, the online tax filing service of Liberty Tax Service, offers its customers both easy tax filing and fast tax refunds, that are accurate and secure through e-filing. Following the contest, customers wrote in to express their support of eSmart Tax.

“eSmart (Tax) is a great product,” said About.com user, Kara. “I am not surprised they won and am glad others have experienced the software as well!”

The completion rate, which measures the ratio of persons who started a tax return to persons who completed a tax return, is up to 52% on eSmartTax.com this year. Similarly, statistics from the eSmart Tax tax filing application show that most users complete their tax return in just one day, many in just one hour.

Another “guest” on About.com, named Allen, called eSmart Tax “fast” and “easy,” saying he would “definitely be back next year.”

Perfect for customers that are always on-the-go, eSmart Tax uses an interview-style tax application to minimize time and user error through lengthy calculations. eSmart Tax offers three tax filing products allowing taxpayers with tax forms of all types to e-file easily and efficiently: taxpayers with simple W2s, self-employed taxpayers, freelancers, taxpayers with dependents and itemized deductions, retirees, contractors and even small businesses. eSmart Tax will even offer extension filing starting in April for those who will be unable to file their taxes prior to the April 18, 2011 deadline.

“Each year we make improvements to our website and tax filing application, based on customer reviews,” said Ray Shively, Vice President of Online Products for Liberty Tax Service. “This year, it seems we’re closer than ever to providing the ideal tax filing service for all the do-it-yourselfers looking for the biggest and easiest tax refund; and it’s exciting to hear that so many About.com readers and eSmart Tax customers agree.”
